You knew that health is our first priority nowadays. Health is something you shouldn’t ignore from time to time. Your health depends on the foods you’re eating nowadays. You and the rest are educated by parents and teachers on proper nutrition and diet. There’s nothing wrong referring to the foods you eat, however you should play extra caution.

You can’t eat less, and you can’t eat more too. Having a balanced meal is essential for our body, and there’s a catch behind it. People understand that relying on nutritious foods such as fruits, vegetables, fish and others are enough for us to stay healthy. There are other ways for you to become healthy and strong, although food is a daily requirement.

Without further ado, these three facts on maintaining your health are going to blow your mind.

Fact #1: Not all the nutrients are stored in the foods you eat

This is where parents and teachers forgot to reveal you in relation to the truth on foods. Although it’s required for us to eat foods every day, yet what can you avail in return. Your stomach may be full, yet are you getting the right nutrients that your body needs? How come that not all of the nutrients are present within the foods you eat?

Did you know that……

  • You need to eat at least 90 mg of oranges a day to get the full RDA (required daily amount) of vitamin C?
  • You need to eat at least 15 mg of raw green leaves to get the full RDA of vitamin E?

You can eat them daily to get vitamin C and E respectively, but is it enough? To be honest, vitamin C and E aren’t the only ones you need. There are many vitamins, minerals and antioxidants you need to take in order to stay healthy. This is the harsh reality for all people around the world. Your body needs a complete spectrum of micronutrients that can nourish your cells completely. It’s what you call the basic unit of life, and this is where you came from.

Here’s a tip: To address this issue, include raw (not cooked) fruits and veggies in your daily meal. They’re rich in antioxidants to eliminate toxins that are trapped within your cells. Nutritional supplements who are rich in complete vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, can compliment with the foods you eat. This is why you can’t rely on healthy foods alone.

Fact #2: You can’t be healthy without spending a little time for physical activities

Of course, you can’t stay healthy by relying on foods alone. Your body needs exposure on physical activities like the regular exercise. Here’s the sad reality, though. There are people from around the world who are lazy enough to perform regular exercises. Instead, they’re just relying on healthy foods alone. Although there’s nothing wrong on relying, it’s just that there’s something incredible in terms of getting healthier than ever. Before doing this, ask yourself if you’re serious to become healthier than ever. If you’re ready, start off by doing any physical activity for a few minutes of your time.

Here are some physical activities you can count on on top of eating healthy foods:

  • Walking or jogging
  • Indoor (bike trainer or stationary bike) or outdoor cycling
  • Doing household chores (e.g., gardening, house cleaning, carpentering, etc.)
  • Working out in a gym

Here’s a tip: Never miss a single day without spending a few minutes in any physical activity. What matters is that you’re doing something to improve your body, not just relying on foods in maintaining your overall health.

Fact #3: Synthetic medication can give you a “long term” health problem

You heard it right? Most doctors today are prescribing synthetic medicines to patients. The reason that patients are listening to them, is because they’re doctors. They don’t mind on what the doctors prescribe to them. In their mindset, doctors are so-called “experts” in their field, so patients assume that they’re right. Although synthetic medication can relieve your pain or cure you from such diagnosis, but it will harm your kidneys and other organs in the long run. They’re not going to be the solution for a long-term health, but rather causes a long-term problem for a temporary cure.

Here are the ones you expect in synthetic medicines from over-the-counter pharmacies and drug stores:

  • Numerous side effects (vomiting, allergy, nausea, etc.)
  • Contraindications
  • Adverse effects
  • Drug-to-drug interaction

Here’s a tip: I suggest that you should buy a legitimate doctor’s directory book in a nearby bookstore. This will help you identify the contents, side effects and other things you know before taking that synthetic medicine.
