Post baby body expectations are often sky-high and they can be frustrating and upsetting, especially when lots of famous ladies reveal their toned and slim bodies right after giving birth. Thankfully, not all celebrity moms leave the hospital with rock hard abs and back to their pre-baby weight overnight.

The Dancing With The Stars pro recently shared a photo of her post-baby body revealing that she still has a bump and is not quite back to her previous weight. “Real life: I took this photo 8 days post birth. I left the hospital looking 5 months pregnant”, Peta wrote. She then added that “Many people think a woman should shrink right back to her pre-birth weight immediately. That is just not the truth for most.” The new mommy ended her Instagram post with “The female body is incredible and resilient, but healing and strengthening take time. Now it’s time for patience and hard work. Lots of love to all the new mamas out there on the journey.”
Hilaria Baldwin shared this no-filter selfie on Instagram back in September, one day after she gave birth to her son Leonardo. She captioned the photo: “It always makes me a bit nervous to do something like this, but I feel that in the age of such strong body shaming, I want to do all that I can to normalize a real body and and promote healthy self esteem.”
Oscar-winner Anne Hathaway also took to Instagram to share that her body changed after having a baby. “There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever). There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all). There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer’s are just too dang short for this summer’s thighs.”

Jessie James Decker took to Instagram to thank fans for all their comments about how tiny she looked after giving birth to her second child via C-section. She wrote “I don’t want to mislead any mommy’s who just had babies and are stressing! I gained 55 pounds with my daughter and only 27 this time!”. Jessie added “My tummy is still swollen and you can see my c-section scar and pooch! I had another due to my 9lb baby and petite frame. So no rushing and no stressing about losing weight!” She also revealed that she wore a “belly waist train thingy a few hours her n there”.
Supermodel Chrissy Teigen has been 100% candid about how her body changed after welcoming her daughter, Luna. Chrissy showed off her stretch marks on Snapchat and wrote “LOL my thighs have tributaries”. She also spoke honestly about the fact that celebrities have it easier when it comes to getting the perfect post baby body. “We have nutritionists, we have dietitians, we have our own schedules, we have nannies. We have people who make it possible for us to get back into shape. But nobody should feel like that’s normal, or like that’s realistic.”
