I know many people out there that have started a diet have given up on their weight loss. I’ve been there and it feels like you are at wits end. You’ve tried it all, but nothing seems to work. You feel like you don’t know what to do more. Them you believe that it’s impossible to lose weight and you just quit.
Quit? Wait hold-on…
Take heart, it is not that bad after all. I’m happy to tell you that after decades of struggle I’ve taken and kept off 45 pounds. More importantly, my weight is stable, health superb and physical shape great. I’m telling you this simply to illustrate the fact that quit is not the solution. YOU can lose weight with a little guidance and faith in yourself. Just don’t give up on weight loss.
If I did it! You can too
First of all, relax and breathe. There is not a fast way to lose weight. Think that time is on your side. Realizing this means any small change will take effect over time.
These are two factors that are present in the lives of people who have been successful at weight loss and maintaining that loss. These two factors:
-
Keep active:
Successful people do some form of aerobic exercise 5 to 7 days per week. It’s as simple as talking a walk each evening. Do it minimally 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes at a time.
-
Eating healthy:
Successful people have developed a healthier eating habit. These habits are very important to reach your weight loss and maintaining it. For example, eating more fruits and vegetables daily will make a huge difference.
Daily exercises can put you in a “healthy” frame of mind and helps you to make better food choices. Bottom line, when you are exercising consistently, your eating habits are better.
What this means? If you are serious about lose weight, then you must get serious about exercise. A major factor in most people’s frustration with weight loss is that they haven’t been told the truth about exercise. The truth is that, twenty minutes, three days per week isn’t going to cut it for weight loss.
Conclusion Weight Loss
Giving up in your weight loss is not the solution. If you don’t feel happy with your weight, you must workout.
Get into the habit of doing exercises 4-6 days a week. By exercises, I don’t mean to do hard workout. But keep active (walking, bicycle, jogging, swimming, dancing, etc…)
And of course, eat healthy and reduce your positions.
It worked for me. It can work for you. DON’T GIVE UP.
